![]() ![]() Galaxy's biggest pro was that it was just plain fun. I don't think Galaxy 2 is necessarily in the same boat, as we've already had a number of 3D Mario games. Both games offered difference concepts and experiences, as well as different overall impacts on their franchises. Both tried more original ideas that, while fresh, strayed a bit from the classic 2D root concepts of the franchise.Īs a result you get some people who feel that OoT and Prime are the best 3D entries of those franchise, for obvious reasons, but you also find people who preferred Echoes and MM. Majora's Mask and Echoes then took this foundation, being the franchise established in 3D, and built on newer concepts. Prime and OoT are very 'traditional', but also the first in their 3D realm. Not just replicate, but expand, which gave the feeling of something fresh and new at the same time. ![]() They managed to take classic, familiar concepts and feelings and replicated them in a 3D environment. They took the most beloved concepts of their associated franchises and took them to a 3D ream. OoT and MP were both very traditional games. ![]() I just want to clarify why people feel that way.
